For the duration of Art Basel 2016, KREËMART presented Arabian Happy Ending, a happening with internationally acclaimed Egyptian artist Youssef Nabil. Arabian Happy Ending is an event exploring political and social tensions in the Middle East through the universal and experiential sensation of sugar and video.
KREËMART and Youssef Nabil created limited edition plates with Bernardaud, garnished with gold guimauves of oriental aphrodisiac flavors created in collaboration Ladurée. Nabil uses these arousing confections as a way to discuss and remind us of the sexual inhibitions of the Arabian world.
